Club Rules

These rules apply to all members, guests, and visitors to Hale Barns Tennis Club. By becoming a member or using the facilities, you agree to abide by these rules. The committee reserves the right to update these rules at any time.

1. 1

   Membership: Only paid-up members and their authorised guests may use the courts and facilities. Membership is not transferable.

2. 2

   Court Bookings: Courts must be booked in advance via ClubSpark. Members may book up to 7 days in advance. Please cancel bookings you cannot use to allow other members access.

3. 3

   Court Etiquette: Please vacate the court promptly at the end of your booked session. Be ready to play when the court becomes available and allow the next booking to begin on time.

4. 4

   Dress Code: Appropriate tennis attire must be worn on court. Non-marking court shoes must be worn at all times. Street shoes or studded shoes are not permitted on the courts.

   Guests: Members may bring guests to the club. Guest fees apply and must be paid before play. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times.

   Behaviour: All members and guests are expected to behave in a courteous and respectful manner at all times. Abusive language or behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in suspension of membership.

7. 7

   Floodlights: Floodlights are available until 10pm. Please ensure all lights are switched off when leaving and courts are left clean and tidy.

8. 8

   Clubhouse: Please leave the clubhouse clean and tidy after use. Report any damage or maintenance issues to the committee promptly.
