Our Club
A welcoming tennis club at the heart of Hale Barns since 1924. More than a century later, we continue to bring together players of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced competitors.
Tennis in Hale Barns Since 1924
Hale Barns Tennis Club has been at the heart of the local community for over a century and as part of our recent celebrations we were invited to a special open day at The All England Tennis Club in SW19. Nestled beside a 300 year old chapel on a leafy road the club was formed in 1924 on the very grounds it still occupies today. Witness to over one hundred glorious years as white balls became yellow and wooden frames gave way to graphite.
Through the decades the club has maintained it’s commitment to providing excellent tennis facilities while preserving the friendly welcoming atmosphere that has always defined us.
Five superb all weather courts, three of which are floodlit are open all year round with a small cosy clubhouse offering plenty of free parking. We welcome prospective players of all ages and abilities from social players to competitive teams in both adult and junior leagues. Individual and group coaching is available to all members with our superb friendly, highly qualified LTA registered coaches.
